At the LAF Group, considerable time and effort has been expended on Research & Development projects to develop innovative fire protection technology on construction methodologies embracing structural steel, Sheetmetal as well as PVC ductwork configurations and Heritage timber ceiling systems. We believe that our Passive Fire Protection Systems will afford substantial economical and installation benefits adopted for the fire upgrading of: Structural Steel & proprietary decking systems, Concrete Elements, Carbon Fibre Reinforcing Polymer strips, Enclosures/Ducts to Mechanical and Electrical services, Separating Construction and Floor/Roof Ceilings assemblies. Our Group is well positioned to provide our Clients with quality based Fire Protection Systems, Noise Abatement products, Inhouse as well as Outsourced Technical Support and 'field proven' performance. We've developed a wide range of high quality and versatile products such as the Vermitex and Vermiduct range for use both in Australia and other Asia-Pacific nations. Our business has been able to satisfy these needs, through meticulously chosen representative Agents in Hong Kong, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Over the years we have successfully exported Vermiculite, Perlite and premixed products such as our Alltex, Vermitex Acustico and Trimesh^® products to many countries, some of which are: New Zealand, West Samoa, Thailand and Papua New Guinea.
